Compatibility: HD panels only. This InstallStrip does not work with storeWALL Standard Duty panels.

Standard slatwall installation requires screwing through the panel face — visible fasteners, limited repositionability, and reduced holding capacity at each screw point. The HD InstallStrip mounts horizontally to the wall substrate using #6 screws (sourced separately), then the HD panel clips directly onto the strip — no fasteners visible on the panel face. The steel reinforcement in the strip distributes load across the full strip length rather than concentrating it at individual screw points, delivering the 300 lbs/sq ft holding capacity at the panel surface that the HD panel system is rated for. Panels can be added, removed, or reconfigured at any time without re-drilling.

- Orientation: Mount strips horizontally on the wall — 2 strips per 8ft panel, positioned to align with the panel’s clip points
- Stud requirement: Screws must reach wall studs for rated 300 lbs/sq ft holding capacity — confirm stud spacing (16" or 24" on-center) before installation
- Screw length: Select #6 screw length based on substrate — through drywall into stud typically requires 2"–2.5" screws; concrete requires appropriate masonry anchors
- Separation: Each 45" strip can be separated into 30" or 15" sections — useful for partial-wall installations, corners, or custom layouts
- Panel repositioning: Panels clip and unclip from InstallStrips without tools — reconfigure your layout at any time without re-drilling
